The brain is made up of 'Structural Fats' and needs Omega-3 to function at its fullest potential. Unfortunately, 2/3 of Americans are deficient in Omega-3, which can bring on an endless list of frustrating ailments.
The unfortunate side about walnuts is that buying them tends to be expensive, especially in New York. But as a vegan, it is extremely important to be getting Omega-3 in ours diets to keep our brain in tip-top shape. Great food is the best health insurance around!
